Losing a tooth due to decay, gum disease, or trauma can cause a number of questions about the future of your smile and your oral health. While we do everything we can to preserve your natural teeth, sometimes a tooth extraction becomes necessary. We never take this decision lightly and will always help you make a decision about tooth-replacement that works best for you. Because of their health benefits and convenience, many of our patients opt to use dental implants to replace missing teeth.
Dental implants are the tooth replacement option that most closely mimics your natural teeth.
Dental implants provide an excellent option to replace a single missing tooth or multiple missing teeth. We can also use dental implants to retain other types of dentistry. This allows you to replace many teeth and also enjoy the health benefits associated with dental implants.
Implant-retained bridge – If you have multiple missing teeth in a row, we can use a combination of dental implants and a fixed dental bridge to replace teeth and avoid the need for a partial denture. Dental implants give your dental bridge added stability.
Implant-retained dentures – If you have difficulty with how your dentures fit, dental implants can secure your denture in place. As few as four dental implants can create an anchor for your dentures to lock in place. This will keep them from moving around when you talk and chew.
