Dr. Langkau grew up in a small northern Wisconsin town, obtained a bachelors degree in biology while competing for the Minnesota Gophers track and field team in college, and attended Indiana University School of Dentistry for his dental training.
Following dental school, he honed his skills as a Dental Officer for the United States Navy for five years. While completing his service for the Navy, he provided dental treatment in Parris Island at the Marine Corps recruiting depot, was attached to the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford, and was stationed at the Navy boot camp in Great Lakes, Illinois. After honorable discharge from active duty, he and his wife moved to Indiana to settle down and start a family.
Dr. Langkau enjoys dentistry because it allows him to use his skills to provide care for the surrounding community. He considers it a privilege to serve his patients and help improve their oral health. Dr. Langkau loves to utilize the newest technology, such as Cerec same-day crowns, to deliver the best possible treatment.
In his down time Dr. Langkau likes to spend time working around his house, being active, and playing with his golden retriever.
